In the past few weeks I have encountered so many scenarios and yet I found myself buried in texting, facebooking, and twittering. Im not entirely sure why but I think it might have something to do with me being desensitized to the happenings around me. One day I will leave my phone at home and see if I can break my addiction. But with my luck, something memorable will happen and I will need to be in contact with someone or find that I need that all important video/cam feature so I can text someone with the title "YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!!" Sadly enough I am sitting at the library watching a man talk to his facebook games and promising that its the last try. He has said that four times now so I think his addiction may be worse than mine. He does not see his problem and I see mine.
The sun has finally blessed us with his presence. (I think the sun is my astrological element but I dont have time to research that) I had no time to get pics of the latest snow storm other than with my phone so the resolution kind of sucks. A guy walking behind me was in a hurry and didnt have the cognitive ability to walk around me so I had to stop and let him go by. Then he walked slower...go figure.
Its March break. Seriously! There are so many kids downtown now that are pretty sure they were the ones who discovered March break. Yesterday I overheard a bunch of youngsters complaining about the 'pre-teens' taking over the mall like they were warts on the face of a super model. I laughed. It wasnt that long ago that they were pre-teens acting as though they owned the world.
(oh boy that guy across the table from me is talking to his facebook again and its obvious there is a problem. There is money involved from what he is saying. They guy beside him just told him to be careful)
Now to my right I see a man sitting at a computer eating Subway. He has sauce all over his face and is wiping it with the back of his hand. He isnt getting it all. Ugh! I just want to hop over the table and clean him with the napkin in my backpack but that would give me nothing to write about...or would it.....?
You may be wondering why I keep obsessing about the little things. Well its those little things that make a great photo op. Im trying to imagine what I would be able to do without tipping off the guys that I was temporarily stalking them. My advice to those of you beginning is to look at the world before you commit to creating a masterpiece. Look at all the intricate little details. When possible, get different views of the world, sit on top of a building or lay on the ground (whichever is available to you). But most of all dont take your eye level as the only view available to you.
Well I am off to do some real work now. Believe it or not its my day off and I am working on other things. First I have to do some writing....with a small invention called a pen. I think the pen is just a passing phase because we have these wonderful things called word processors on our computers and phones. I wonder if I know how to use this pen.
Enjoy the spring weather that we are about to be faced with.
