Sitting here in my bedroom listening to a playlist of Divine Brown. I cant say I have had such a favorite singer as much as her lately and I just cant stop listening to Old Skool Love and Lay it on The Line. Then off to Meaghan Smith and Anthony Hamilton.
After weeks and weeks of mind-numbing Facebook games, TV, and waiting for something in my life to happen I finally managed to get out of the house with a friend. She talked alot which is music to my ears because it woke up my brain enough to realize how I was falling into a rut. I needed to hear another voice and conversations that I havent had for years not to mention I got to know her a bit more and Im glad to know that fun side of her. I smiled and laughed all night so mission accomplished. I felt the need to apologize to her because I thought I was boring. I'll get my mojo back soon.
I posted two more photos. I absolutely love the flora I have normally looked over. Hostas are usually a plant that we appreciate for the green only. They do flower and when you get close to them they resemble a very delicate daylily and are prettier than I had realized. The particular shot I got was one of a kind. I tried to get some green inthe background but the black is what came through. With an ISO setting of 80 I managed to do a select focus..which is really difficult with a camera that complains when you take it off auto focus. Ohh I need my Olympus OM-F back up and running. That camera is 100% manual and acts like an extension of my body. I always know when I have the perfect shot just by the feeling I get when I click the shutter.
ok Im off to work on the final chapter of my book. Ive put it off for far too long. Id like to thank my friend for helping wake up both sides of my brain again.
Ciao!
